Budkalon (greetings)!
My name is Budkalon Zétya, but please just call me Budi.

I specialize in comics, illustrations, and fantasy worldbuilding, and I’m open to collaborations and commissions

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember--literally. My earliest memory is me doodling on my front door when I was four. My first comics I've read were my older siblings' collection that I sometimes trace into my books. As a kid, I filled an entire bookshelf with school notebooks packed with comics I made myself

Today, I create comics as job and have been developing many oneshot comics since 2020. In early 2020, I was the artist for Re:ON Comic's Galauman started from chapter 42, and right now, I am contributing to the yearly comic compilation of Novarium Comics, starting with Demon Pepito

Beyond comics, I have a deep love for worldbuilding. I create maps, languages, magic systems, and even speculative biology--not necessarily to tell a story, but simply because I love the process of building worlds. It’s my sanity check, basically

About This Site

This website is my personal site to showcase my (curated) works. I’ve shared my comics, illustrations, and worldbuilding projects across different platforms, but I always felt limited by how they were displayed--especially the comics. The way spred-pages were separated, along with formatting issues and a lack of customization, was frustrating. So, I decided to create my own place where I have full control over the presentation of my work--even tho my knowledge here is quite limited honestly

I categorize my main work into three sections:

• Comic Works
  This section focuses mainly on comics. You can read my comics directly on the site, both in print and scroll formats. However, some comics might not be available to be read directly here due to NDAs or because they are part of a larger compilation, such as my work for Novarium Comics. I mostly create oneshot comics. So, yeah....

• Illustration Works
  This section showcases my illustrations, including random drawings, cover art, fanart, and commissioned work. The styles vary as--even tho I curate them--I also want to display my progress over the years

• Worldbuilding Works
  This is the most complex section. It will always be a work in progress as I plan to add new features and reorganize content over time. It includes various types of content like articles, text-based posts, illustration galleries, and even videos. Due to its complexity, this section might contain some errors or missing content as I continue to update it

Beyond being just a portfolio, I also--hopefully in the future--use this site as my personal blog, where I can share my thought about my creative process, comics and worldbuilding, and maybe even some behind-the-scenes looks at my projects

All my works—including comics, illustrations, and worldbuilding projects—are fully owned by me. I retain all rights, and they cannot be used, modified, or redistributed without my permission.

• No modification: You are not allowed to alter, remix, or edit my works in any way.
• No unauthorized use: My works cannot be used outside my control.
• Sharing is allowed: You may share my works as long as you provide proper credit and do not modify them.
• No reuploads: Do not re-upload my works on other platforms or websites.

Commissioned works follow separate agreements between me and the client, and the terms vary depending on the project.

2. Licensing & Usage Permissions

I currently do not offer licenses for my works. If you wish to use my work for any purpose beyond personal viewing, you must contact me directly.
