Tagalbuni

This is my lifetime project--one that is still, and will always be, in development. This is the kind of project where I don’t set goals or expectations just want to make it

It all started in 2015 as a simple Webtoon comic titled Sandikala. It was a small project about the personification of Sunda-nese's 17 types of 'pupuh' poems. The story was loosely connected, and my only goal was to study how to create a scroll-comic format

But then, it evolved. As I learned more about worldbuilding, especially conlangs, I stumbled upon many references and ideas. I also started exploring Nusantara cultures beyond Sunda-nese, my own background. This led me to create my first worldbuilding project: Tagalbuni (a direct translation of Sandi-kala)

This comic here is the second version! It had more planning, and by then, I had gained some experience in Webtoon formatting. But after 2021, I lost interest in the scroll format, so I put it on hiatus and began developing it for print instead

This version is just an archive, so don’t expect much lol
