The ancient language of trees, headhunting, and tattoo. The song of the sacreed leave when the ancestor of the world had just divided.
After the Katya’u conlang, the second conlang showcase video I made is for Pakung. This conlang is considered my main conlang in the Ciptabuana Tagalbuni project. I’ve been working on the Pakung conlang since 2016, around my second year of high school
This conlang is based on the ancestral language of the Indonesian people: Proto-Austronesian (the ancient language of the Southern Archipelago), which was spoken around 7,000 years ago. I used that language as the basis for Pakung because the main inhabitants of the Tagalbuni world (Banua) are inspired by Austronesian people
Originally, I created the Kanca conlang—based on the Sundanese language for Tagalbuni—but I ended up diving into the evolution of the ancestral language of Nusantara, and that led to this conlang. I chose Proto-Austronesian because I was tired of seeing "This is Nusantara Fantasy" always based on Javanese (or even Sundanese, hehe)
This conlang also has its own script, which is entirely a priori; it isn’t based on any real-world script but is instead a modified design, lol
I hope that in the future I can make more conlang showcase videos, as the Ciptabuana Tagalbuni project still has many conlangs that haven’t been explored
